Delete your BarnBrief account

Delete it yourself

On the website or in the BarnBrief app for Android or iPhone:

  1. Sign in and open your Account page.
  2. Under Delete your account, type “delete” to confirm.
  3. Enter your password, if you have one.
  4. Tap Delete my account.

It happens at once, signs you out everywhere and can’t be undone. If other people are still in a barn you own, remove them from the team first (or ask us to hand the barn over), and cancel a running plan from the Plan page; the Account page tells you which applies.

Or ask us

Email support@barnbrief.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.

What’s deleted

  • Your account: your name, email address, password hash, profile picture and sign‑in sessions.
  • Any barn that’s yours alone, with everything in it: its horses, care log, feed charts, schedule, documents and photos, lessons, messages and billing records. Download what you want to keep from Barn settings first.

What’s kept

  • Barns other people are still in keep the records they share, such as care log entries you made, since those belong to the barn. The barn’s owner can delete them, or ask us to.
  • Competition records compiled from public results, which aren’t personal to you.
  • Stripe’s own records of payments made through it, under Stripe’s policy.
  • Backups and email‑delivery logs held by our providers, until they expire on their own schedules.

Delete some of your data, and keep your account

  • Delete a care log entry, photo, document or other record you added from where it’s shown.
  • Leave a barn from the bottom of its Team page; a horse owner asks the barn’s owner or a manager.
  • Ask us at support@barnbrief.com to delete anything else about you, or the barn’s owner if a barn recorded it.
